The Hullam Hostel in the centre of Révfülöp on Lake Balaton's north shore is just 100 meters away from the beach and 200 meters from the next train station away. The turn-of-the-century building has been newly renovated and features an inviting bar with a charming outdoor terrace. Wireless internet is available free of charge in the Hullam Hostel and there is also a bike storage room and bike rental available.

Area Information

Hullám Hostel in Révfülöp is easily approachable by car ( via M-71 ) or by train. From Budapest take directly the train departing from the Deli palyaudvar ( South Railway Station ).

Hullam Hostel is 165 kilometers from Budapest and 180 kilometers from Vienna away.

The hostel is 200 meters from the train and bus station in Révfülöp away.

Travel Information

ARRIVAL BY TRAIN:
From Budapest:
The easiest way is to take the train from Deli pu. ( South Railway Station ) directly to Révfülöp. The trains run daily 6 - 7 times; 2 of them are Intercity trains ( IC ). The hostel recommends to take these faster ones.
Usually one starts early in the morning, the other one around 5 p.m.

ARRIVAL BY PLANE:
From Sarmellek Balaton Airport by Flybalaton:
After you arrive at the airport search the Fly Car Airport Transfer Company.
Ask them whether they take you at that moment with other passengers in direction of the north shore of Balaton and if you are lucky then they will transfer you to the hostel for app. EUR 20 - 25 per person. It takes about an hour by the shuttle to arrive to the hostel.
If there won’t be enough number of passengers traveling to the same direction as you, then ask the company to take you to either Heviz or Keszthely, which is only 15 minutes away from the airport and this short trip takes app. EUR 5 ( return ticket costs app. EUR 8 ).
Heviz is one of the most popular and interesting town in Hungary as it is world famous about its big thermal lake. Most of our backpackers visit Heviz so the hostel recommends you to spend some hours there.
But you also can spend some time in Keszthely, it is next to Heviz and it is a bigger town than Heviz with a nice pier and inner town part.
Both from Keszthely and Heviz you can reach the hostel by public bus service. The buses start from the local bus stations.

Food & Beverage

Hullam Hostel's enchanting ancient garden is ideal for parties, receptions, cookouts and for general relaxation. Hullam offers DJs / bands to liven up the atmosphere, along with soccer tables and a well-stocked bar with cocktail mixers. There is a grocery store and vegetable / fruit vendor on the hostel's premises as well as a bicycle rental area to facilitate sightseeing tours, group activities and excursions.

Hullam Hostel has 21 rooms in total. Each room has been decorated, furnished and painted to create a unique environment for its guests.
Most rooms have their own common shower and bathroom area, where bright tiles make bathing an experience in itself.
