Located in one of the nicest and safest areas of downtown Budapest next to the Parliament, several major sights and the Danube, the Origo hostel offers you cosy and clean accommodation. The Kossuth square metro station is also next to the hotel, so everything is easily accessible. The Origo guest house is situated on the second floor of a nice, historic Pest building, offering double, twin, triple and 4-bedded rooms. 2 rooms share a bathroom. There is a living room connected to a big guest kitchen which is very well equipped with an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a fridge and a washing machine. There is also a nice terrace where smoking is allowed. The multi-lingual staff is happy to assist you in every respect. Wireless internet access is provided in all rooms and there is a computer with free internet access in the common room. There you also find a satellite TV. Bike rental is available as well. A supermarket can be found just 30 metres away and restaurants, bars and clubs and cash machines can be found within a 100-metre radius from the Origo hostel.

The guest kitchen can be used for free by all guests. There are several eateries, restaurants, cafes, bars and supermarkets within 100 meters.

Travel Information

By public transport from all starting points:
- Take the red metro line 2 and get off at Kossuth square.
- Turn right and walk about 15 20 meters.
- At the corner turn right again to Nador street.
- Walk 40 - 50 meters and you will find Origo hostel & guesthouse right next to the Little Irish Coffee Bar.

From Ferihegy airport:
- The easiest way is to take the airport minibus
or
- Get on the repter busz (airport bus) at the terminal and get off at the last stop (Kőbánya Kispest).
- Take the blue metro line (M3) towards Úpest-központ and travel to Deak square.
- Change for the red metro line (M2) and travel 1 stop to Kossuth square
or, if you don’t want to validate another ticket, walk about 10 minutes:
- cross Erzsebet Square and walk toi Vorosparty square. From there, head north to the hostel on Nador street

From Keleti railway station:
- Take the red metro line towards Deli pu. and travel to Kossuth Square (4th stop).

From Nyugati railway station:
- Take the blue metro towards Kőbánya-Kispest and get off at Deak square (second stop).
- Change for the red metro line (M2) and travel 1 stop to Kossuth square

From Déli railway station:
- Take the red line metro towards Örs Vezer Tere and travel to Kossuth square (third stop).

Népliget int. bus station:
- Take the blue line metro (M3) toward Úpest-központ and travel till Deak square (6th stop)
- Change for the red metro line (M2) and travel 1 stop to Kossuth square

Important Information

Please note that the reception is not open non-stop during low season.
